Integrated Close Care are Close Care units that are physically part of a care home type environment. The facilities are designed to be able to provide similar levels of care as a care home, but the accommodation is different. As opposed to a typical care home environment where a resident may only benefit from a bedroom, with or without an ensuite, and access to the communal dayspace, this form of assisted living property is more akin to a one bedroom apartment with, typically, a lounge, a bedroom, a bathroom and some cooking facilities. Further care and hotel services are available according to need from the on-site care facility. Integrated Close Care properties are typically available to rent or to purchase on long leases. |
